The new Decree “On Circulation of Digital Tokens (Tokens)” (No. 367 of September 17, 2024) was signed by the President of the Republic of Belarus.

The main change for individuals is the obligation to deposit or withdraw funds, electronic money only through the eligible authorised HTP residents. However crypto assets trading in the other cryptoplatforms is not prohibited by the Decree. It is important to be careful when choosing an exchange and take into account its reliability, legality and security.

Основным нововведением для физических лиц является то, что теперь они  обязаны перечислять на биржу или выводить с биржи денежные средства, электронные деньги только через резидентов ПВТ, имеющих на это право. При этом торговля криптоактивами на других биржах в указе не запрещена. Но важно внимательно относится к выбору биржи и учитывать ее надежность, легальность и  безопасность.

Stablecoin Toncoin has been approved by the Astana Financial Services Authority of the Astana International Financial Center (AFSA) for trading on licensed platforms.

The decision follows a comprehensive review that found Toncoin compliance with AFSA's regulatory standards. “Investors can now trade Toncoin on AFSA-licensed platforms, benefiting from a reliable regulatory base and investor protection measures established by the IFCA,” the Astana Financial Services Authority claimed in the official press release.

The approval of Toncoin in Kazakhstan is an important step in the development of the local cryptocurrency market. Representatives of regulators expect that the legalization of the crypto asset will attract a new wave of institutional and private investors who are looking for alternative safe and transparent options for trading.

TON became the 107th digital asset approved by the IFCA Astana Financial Services Authority. Toncoin has a capitalization of $18.7 billion that places the token in ninth place in the ranking of the largest cryptocurrencies.
